I am blessed to go to church with some very talented musicians and I love worshiping with them as they lead the congregation in song. Do any of you have a favorite song that you get to sing in church?
One of the songs I think the band at my church does extremely well is “I Will Not Be Shaken”. Something about when they do it just revs me up and helps me realize there is truly nothing in the world that can take away my faith. This song happens to fit in perfectly with our reading of Psalm 62 today, so here it is (I’m not crazy about the video, but it is the only one I could find; just listen to the music and lyrics).
“Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” (Psalm 62:1-2)
